Midwifery Care Services

Prenatal Care
Appointments are held in the comfort of your home and typically last 45-60 minutes. Each visit includes personalized counseling on nutrition, preventative health, routine labs, and a full review of your health and history. Together we prepare for birth through breastfeeding support and individualized childbirth education.
Visit schedule: every 4 weeks until 28 weeks, every 2 weeks until 36 weeks, then weekly until delivery.

Labor & Birth
Your midwife provides continuous, attentive care in your home during active labor through the first hours after birth. A birth assistant, necessary equipment, birth supplies, and an initial newborn exam are all included to ensure safety and comfort.

Postpartum Care
Comprehensive mother–baby care continues for six weeks following birth. Visits are offered at 24–48 hours, 1 week, 2 weeks, and 6 weeks, with additional care as needed. Services include breastfeeding support, newborn screenings, family planning counseling, and well-woman care.

Childbirth Education
One-on-one classes are available to guide you through pregnancy, labor, comfort measures, newborn care, and a healthy transition into postpartum life.

Placenta Encapsulation

Placenta encapsulation is the process of preparing the placenta after birth, drying it, and placing it into capsules for the mother to take postpartum. Many women choose this option to help support recovery, as the placenta is rich in iron, hormones, and nutrients. Reported benefits include increased energy, more balanced moods, enhanced milk supply, and overall support during the transition into the postpartum period.
